IMSU Medicine And Surgery, Optometry And Others Regains NUC Full Accreditation

Following the memo dated April 14th 2022 released by National University commission

The commission accredited so many programmes offered in the university

It would be recalled that accreditation exercise for courses in Imo State University took place in October/November, 2021

It is important to note that, the programmes that got full accreditation will be valid for five years, those that got interim accreditation will be valid for two years, after two years the programmes will be revisited and those that were denied accreditation will have the following implications;

-Immediate ban on students into the programmes

-Certificate issued to admitted into such programmes after the ban will not be recognized (students who are currently enrolled on the programmes will not be affected)

– Students admitted into the programmes with denied accreditation after the ban, shall on graduation be denied call up letter into National Youth Service Corps
