Adeyemi Federal University of Education (AFUED) Certificate Collection Requirements, Fees and Documents Graduates Must Present
The Management of Adeyemi Federal University of Education, AFUED, has released the updated mandatory requirements for certificate collection.
Graduates are expected to have the listed documents and proof of payment ready before going to the Certificate Unit. The notice sets out the papers needed, the charges to pay, and the fee bands by session; each part matters.
Documents needed for AFUED certificate collection
Graduates are required to present the following items.
Identification documents
The required identification items are:
- One recent passport photograph
- Original Student I.D. Card
If the I.D. card is lost, the graduate must pay N2,000 through Remita.
Entry credentials
The required entry papers are:
- Original SSCE or TCII Certificate(s)
- NCE Certificate for Direct Entry students
- The photocopies used at the point of entry
Academic records
Graduates must also present the original Notification of Statement of Result for any of these:
- PDE
- Degree
- NCE
- Certificate
- Diploma
Application letter
A formal application letter for certificate collection must be addressed to:
The Senior Deputy Registrar,
Registrar’s Office (Certificate Unit),
Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo.
AFUED certificate collection fees and charges
The notice also lists the standard fees and other charges tied to certificate collection.
All payments made through Remita must be converted to an official receipt at the Bursary Department.
Certificate fee
The certificate fee is to be paid as shown on the original Remita receipt.
Custodian fee
The custodian fee is N1,000 per year.
Alumni fee
The alumni fee is:
- N7,000 for Degree graduates
- N6,000 for NCE graduates
This payment must be made to UBA Bank, Account No. 1016458346. The teller must then be exchanged for a receipt at the Alumni Secretariat, Student Affairs Division.
Convocation gown and booklet fee
The convocation gown and booklet charges are grouped by session.
For 2004/2005 session to 2020/2021, the fee is N10,000.
For 2021/2022 session to date, the fee is N20,000.
No convocation payment is required for sessions before 2004.

AFUED also gave separate processing fees based on session and award category.
Sessions 2016/2017 and downwards
A flat rate of N10,000 applies to:
- First Degree
- NCE
- All Certificate and Diploma courses
Sessions 2017/2018 to 2020/2021
A flat rate of N15,000 applies to:
- First Degree
- NCE
- Certificate and Diploma courses
- Professional Diploma in Education, PDE
Sessions 2021/2022 to date
A flat rate of N25,000 applies to:
- First Degree
- NCE
- Certificate and Diploma courses
- Professional Diploma in Education, PDE
What graduates should take to the Certificate Unit
Before approaching the Certificate Unit, graduates should have their papers and payment evidence complete.
That means the photo, I.D. card, entry records, result document, application letter, and payment receipts should be ready. A missing paper or unpaid charge could slow the process; the notice is plain on that point.
