What is AWA bike

AWA Bike is a Nigerian smart bike sharing platform that seeks to solve mobility issues in Nigeria by linking members to available bicycles through an app. Riders can search, unlock bikes, enter their destinations, pay and interact via the app.

The bike has a positive effect on students as it enhances fast movement for students that wish to meet up with their lectures.

It will save IMSU students a valuable amount of time to reach a destination inside the school premises.

Students are advised to use the Bicycles to reduce trekking and for fast Movement within the school.

Do not take the bike outside the school environment because it is tractable hence it’s electronic. There’s a set of officials monitoring the usage and packing.

Awa bike is a private business of a company which they introduced to the university management and it was accepted to help student move around within the campus.

One may suggest shuttle busses In campus but have you realized that IMSU campus is not large and there will be much traffic in campus? So the bicycles are better preferred.

Note: The bike is mainly for the school premises. It has an electronic system with a tracking device embedded on it.
