Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Post-UTME / DE Screening Form for 2026/2027 Academic Session

Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, OAU, has announced the Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening registration for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The registration will start on Tuesday, 16 June 2026 and will end on Friday, 14 August 2026.

Who is eligible for OAU Post-UTME/DE screening?

Candidates who made Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife their first choice in the 2026 UTME and scored 200 and above are eligible for the Post-UTME screening exercise.

Direct Entry candidates who applied to OAU are also covered by this admission notice.

Eligibility guidelines for UTME candidates, Direct Entry candidates, foreign candidates and candidates with disabilities are available on the OAU webiste.

When will OAU Post-UTME registration start and end?

The OAU Post-UTME/DE registration will start on Tuesday, 16 June 2026.

The registration portal will close on Friday, 14 August 2026 and candidates are expected to complete all required steps before the closing date.

How can candidates apply for OAU Post-UTME/DE screening?

Candidates will be required to complete the application process through the OAU Post-UTME portal and all supplied details should be checked carefully before submission.

The process is as follows:

  1. Visit the OAU Post-UTME portal
  2. Select “Verify your Details”
  3. Enter the JAMB Registration Number, email address and phone number
  4. Confirm the surname and first name shown automatically on the portal
  5. Proceed to payment through the stated payment gateway
  6. Check the email address provided for login details after payment confirmation
  7. Visit the OAU ePortal login page
  8. Enter the JAMB Registration Number as username and password
  9. Click “Login”, select “My Application” and fill all required details
  10. Review the supplied information, then click “Submit”

The password is not case-sensitive, so candidates may enter it without concern for capital or small letters.

What should candidates do if login details are not received?

Candidates who do not receive their login details should return to the OAU Post-UTME portal.

They should click “Confirm Your Payment”, enter the JAMB Registration Number or email address and validate the payment record, after which the login credentials will be re-sent to the email address provided.

How much is the OAU Post-UTME screening fee?

The OAU Post-UTME screening fee is Two Thousand Naira, N2,000.00 only.

Portal access charges are excluded from the stated screening fee.

What payment options are available?

Payment will be made through the specified payment gateway on the OAU Post-UTME portal.

Candidates may pay through:

  • Card
  • Transfer
  • USSD
  • Physical bank visit

Payment should be completed only through the approved portal process.

When will candidates check their OAU screening schedule?

Candidates are required to check their screening schedule on the OAU admission portal from Monday, 24 August 2026.

Each candidate should use the portal to confirm the allotted date and time, since the screening exercise will be conducted according to the schedule assigned to candidates.

When will the OAU Post-UTME screening exercise hold?

The OAU Post-UTME screening exercise will take place from 1 September to 5 September 2026.

Candidates will be required to present themselves physically at the designated locations for the screening exercise and each candidate should attend only on the allotted date and time.

What should candidates know before submission?

Applicants who provide false information or upload incorrect credentials will be automatically disqualified.

Candidates should review their names, JAMB details, email address, phone number and application records before final submission, since the submitted details will guide payment confirmation and screening communication.

Does OAU approve admission agents?

OAU does not endorse or encourage candidates to patronise Post-UTME or admission agents.

Candidates should complete the screening process through the official portal and rely on the University’s stated channels for admission-related information.
