IMO STATE UNIVERSITY MEDICAL SCHOOL GRADUATES 52 NEW DOCTORS

IMO STATE PUBLIC ENLIGHTENMENT

His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has finally secured the approval of Nigerian Medical and Dental Council to graduated 52 new doctors from the Imo State University Medical School.

This is a remarkable achievement by Governor Uzodimma, as the present class has been in school since 2010.

The Provost of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Bond Anyaehie who spoke on thursday the 6th of May 2021 at the occasion of the graduation, thanked Governor Uzodimma for his support and commitment in bringing back to life the Imo State University Teaching Hospital Orlu and the Medical School.

According to Dr. Anyaehie, the Imo State University Medical School will graduate those admitted 2011 by November 2021 and another set by March 2022.

It will be recalled that under previous administrations, the Imo State University Medical School was not able to gain approval from the Nigerian Medical and Dental Council to graduate her students.

The graduation of the 52 medical doctors is yet another milestone and accomplishment of the Uzodimma led administration in Imo State.
