Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare, FUHSA, has announced the online screening exercise for prospective candidates seeking undergraduate admission for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The online registration will start on Monday, 22 June 2026 and will close on Friday, 17 July 2026.
The notice is for candidates seeking admission through Post-UTME and Direct Entry and all eligible candidates will be expected to follow the registration and screening steps provided through the official FUHSA channels.
Who is eligible for FUHSA Post-UTME/Direct Entry screening?
A candidate will be eligible where the stated admission conditions have been met and the chosen course matches the approved cut-off mark for the 2026/2027 admission exercise.
To qualify, candidates are expected to have:
- Sat for the 2026 JAMB UTME
- Scored the minimum cut-off mark approved for the chosen course
- Chosen FUHSA as first choice
- Obtained at least five relevant O’level credits, including English, Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry
- Obtained the O’level credits in not more than two sittings
- Sat for the relevant UTME subject combination
Candidates should check their course requirement carefully before registration, since a wrong course, wrong subject combination or missing O’level requirement may affect the screening outcome.
What are the approved FUHSA cut-off marks for 2026/2027?
The FUHSA Senate has approved the cut-off marks for the 2026/2027 admission session, following the policy of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB.
Courses with 220 and above
Candidates applying for the following programmes must score 220 or above:
- MBBS
- BDS Dentistry
Courses with 200 and above
Candidates applying for the following programmes must score 200 or above:
- Nursing Sciences
- Optometry
- Physiotherapy
- Radiography
- BMLS
- Audiology
Courses with 160 and above
Candidates applying for the following programmes must score 160 or above:
- Nutrition and Dietetics
- Information Technology and Health Informatics
- Environmental Health Sciences
- Epidemiology and Biostatistics
- Speech Language Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Health Information Management
- Public Health
- Pharmacology
Courses with 150 and above
Candidates applying for the following programmes must score 150 or above:
- Human Anatomy
- Human Physiology
- Biochemistry
- Biotechnology
- Microbiology
How will candidates apply for FUHSA admission screening?
Eligible candidates should visit the FUHSA official website for the registration and screening procedure.
Candidates will also be required to create an account on the FUHSA online screening portal before payment and completion of the screening process.
A candidate should use correct personal details, JAMB details and academic records during registration, since the acknowledgement slip will carry the physical screening date assigned after successful online registration.
What is the FUHSA screening fee?
The screening fee is Two Thousand Naira Only, N2,000.00.
Payment will be made through the FUHSA online screening portal after the candidate has created an account and followed the portal steps.
When will FUHSA physical screening take place?
The physical screening exercise will start on Monday, 27 July 2026 and will end on Friday, 31 July 2026.
Each candidate’s physical screening date will be shown on the acknowledgement received after successful online registration.
Candidates should print or keep the acknowledgement safely, as it will serve as the guide for the assigned screening date.
What should candidates do after online registration?
Candidates who complete the online registration should prepare for physical screening by checking the acknowledgement slip and following the date indicated on it.
They should also rely only on FUHSA official channels for admission updates, since the University has advised candidates to disregard other forms of communication to avoid scams.
