UNILAG Admission into Transitional Doctor of Physiotherapy (tDPT) Programme 2025 is Out
Qualified candidates are hereby invited to apply for the Transitional Doctor of Physiotherapy (tDPT) programme of the College of Medicine, University of Lagos (CMUL), Nigeria, for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
The Transitional Doctor of Physiotherapy (tDPT) programme is an executive, specialized and structured Distance Learning Programme (DLP), with online and weekend (onsite) lectures (hybrid) for licensed and practising physiotherapists in public and private practice.
The Programme is open to physiotherapists within and outside Nigeria and shall run for a minimum of four semesters or two academic sessions.
- A candidate for the tDPT must be a licensed Physiotherapist by the Medical Rehabilitation Therapist Board (MRTB).
- A candidate who possesses a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Physiotherapy or Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B. Physiotherapy) or a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation (BMR) degree in Physiotherapy or its equivalent may be admitted into the DPT degree programme at the 500 Level of study.
- The prospective student for the tDPT training must also satisfy the minimum entry requirements of the University of Lagos: minimum of 5 credit passes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English language at Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or General Certificate of Education (GCE ‘O’ Level) or its equivalents at not more than two (2) sittings.
- Candidates will be required to undergo screening before admission.
Application fee: N50, 000 (Fifty Thousand Naira Only).
Period of application: Three (3) weeks from the date of the advertisement.
