Abdullahi Fodio University of Science and Technology, Aliero (AFUSTA) Notice to 2026 UTME/DE Prospective Candidates
Abdullahi Fodio University of Science and Technology, Aliero, AFUSTA, formerly Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero, KSUSTA, has issued a notice to 2026 UTME and Direct Entry prospective candidates.
The notice concerns candidates who wish to gain admission into AFUSTA, who meet the stated UTME or Direct Entry requirements, but did not choose AFUSTA as first choice on JAMB.
Who does the AFUSTA admission notice apply to?
The notice applies to 2026 UTME candidates who scored a minimum of 150 points and wish to gain admission into Abdullahi Fodio University of Science and Technology, Aliero.
It also applies to Direct Entry candidates with Credit or Merit Pass in HND, ND, IJMB or its equivalent in relevant areas from a recognised higher education provider, where such candidates did not choose AFUSTA as first choice.
What should candidates who did not choose AFUSTA first do?
Candidates who did not choose AFUSTA as first choice are advised to visit any JAMB Office or accredited CBT Centre for change of choice.
The change should be made so that Abdullahi Fodio University of Science and Technology, Aliero, will appear as the candidate’s first choice on JAMB.
Will AFUSTA consider candidates who do not choose it first?
Only candidates who choose AFUSTA as first choice will be considered for 2026 admission.
Candidates who meet the UTME score or Direct Entry qualification requirement should complete the change of choice before expecting admission consideration from the University.
What is the UTME score required for AFUSTA admission notice?
UTME candidates covered by the notice must have scored a minimum of 150 points.
The 150-point score is stated for 2026 UTME candidates who wish to gain admission into AFUSTA and need to make the University their first choice.
What Direct Entry qualifications are accepted in the notice?
Direct Entry candidates covered by the notice must have Credit or Merit Pass in HND, ND, IJMB or its equivalent.
The qualification should be in relevant areas and from a recognised higher education provider.
Why must O’Level results be uploaded to JAMB CAPS?
Candidates are required to upload their O’Level results on the JAMB portal through the CAPS e-facility.
No candidate will be considered for admission without O’Level result upload and this applies to results such as WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or NBAIS.
Where should the O’Level upload be done?
The O’Level upload should be done at any JAMB Office or accredited CBT Centre.
Candidates should ensure that the upload is completed through the JAMB CAPS e-facility, since admission consideration depends on the availability of the O’Level result on the JAMB portal.
What should candidates confirm after the JAMB change and O’Level upload?
Candidates should confirm that AFUSTA appears as first choice on JAMB and they should also confirm that their O’Level results have been uploaded on CAPS.
A candidate who has a 150 UTME score but has not made AFUSTA first choice may be outside the stated admission consideration and a candidate without O’Level upload will not be considered for admission.
How can candidates contact AFUSTA Admission Unit?
Candidates who need further enquiries may contact the Admission Unit through 08037838488 or admission.office@ksusta.edu.ng.
