Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi (FUTIA) Admission List 2025/2026 is Out

Federal University of Technology, Ikot-Abasi Admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session has been released. This is to inform all candidates who participated in the 2025/2026 Admission Screening Exercise that they can proceed to check if their names are on the Provisional Admission list of successful candidates.

The list of admitted candidates have been uploaded online via JAMB CAPS. Candidates are to follow the procedure below to check

We are pleased to inform all candidates who applied to FUTIA as their first choice and participated in the online admissions screening that the 2025 Admissions List has been uploaded on the JAMB portal.

Successful candidates are advised to:

  1. Log in to their JAMB CAPS to confirm and accept their admission(s).
  2. Immediately proceed to the University Portal at portal.futia.edu.ng to pay their Acceptance Fee.

Screening/Registration Exercise Details:

  • Location: University Lecture Theatre, Takeoff Campus, Ikot Abasi
  • Dates: Monday, 6th October to Monday, 20th October, 2025
  • Time: 9:00 AM daily

Required Documents:

  1. Acceptance Fee Receipt
  2. Original JAMB Result
  3. Original JAMB Admission Letter
  4. O’level Result(s)
  5. First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC)
  6. Birth Certificate / Age Declaration
  7. Twelve (12) Passport Photographs
  8. Attestation Letter from Clergy, Senior Civil Servant, or Village Head
  9. Certificate of Origin
  10. FUTIA Bio-Data/Application Form
  11. FUTIA Screening Fee Receipt

Important Notes:

  • Admission lists are released in batches. If your name is not yet listed, please check your JAMB CAPS regularly.
  • Candidates who are not admitted after checking JAMB CAPS may visit the Admissions Officer at the University premises for inquiries and clarification.
  • FUTIA does not authorize any admission agents or demand unauthorized fees. All approved charges are paid electronically on the FUTIA portal.

As of the time of this publication, the Federal University of Technology, Ikot-Abasi prospective students can only check their admission status from the JAMB Portal.

Check Admission Status on JAMB Portal

To check your admission status on JAMB CAPS Portal and JAMB Admission Checking Portal, please follow the procedure below:

  1. Go https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
  2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
  3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
  4. Then click on Admission Status,
  5. You should then click on check admission status or
  6. Click on Access my CAPS.
  7. Select the three-dotted lines at the top right corner of your browser ( i.e. ⋮) and then tick ‘Desktop site‘. (you can click on the image for better view)
  8. Then click on admission status
  9. You will either see admission in progress check back later, or NOT ADMITTED, or CONGRATULATIONS.
  10. Case 1: If you see CONGRATULATIONS…, accept/Reject your admission and wait for further instruction.
  11. Case 2: If you see admission in progress, then be patient, the status will change in few days/weeks. Just check back after some time.
  12. Case 3: Not Admitted, if in such case, please don’t give up yet! You might still gain admission. Just be hopeful!
