College of Nursing Sciences, Maiduguri, has announced that sale of admission forms will commence on Monday, 8 June 2026.

The admission exercise covers National Diploma Nursing and Community Nursing programmes and applicants are expected to meet the stated JAMB cut-off marks, O’Level rules and examination requirements.

Which Programmes Are Available?

The College has listed two programmes for the admission exercise.

• National Diploma in Nursing, ND Nursing, with JAMB cut-off point of 170 and above
• Community Nursing Programme, with JAMB cut-off point of 150 and above

Candidates should apply for the programme that matches their UTME score and admission interest.

Who Can Apply for College of Nursing Sciences Maiduguri Post UTME?

Candidates must have chosen College of Nursing Sciences, Maiduguri as First Choice in the 2026 UTME/JAMB.

Applicants must also meet the cut-off mark for their chosen programme before they will be eligible for the admission process.

What O’Level Subjects Are Required?

Candidates must have O’Level credits in the following subjects:

• English Language
• Mathematics
• Physics
• Chemistry
• Biology

The credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.

Which Result Combinations Are Accepted?

The College will accept the required O’Level credits from one examination body or a combination of two, as stipulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

Accepted combinations include:

• WAEC and WAEC
• WAEC and NECO
• NECO and NECO
• NABTEB and NABTEB
• National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies

Candidates with awaiting results are not eligible.

How Much Is the Application Fee?

The application fee is N10,000.

The fee is non-refundable and must be paid into the College account through REMITA.

How Can Candidates Apply?

Candidates are to apply through the College of Nursing Sciences Maiduguri admission portal and follow the instructions on the portal.

The application process will be completed as follows:

1. Visit the admission portal.
2. Follow the application instructions displayed on the portal.
3. Pay the non-refundable N10,000 fee into the College account through REMITA.
4. Complete the required application details.
5. Submit the form through the stated process.

Candidates should pay only through the approved channels stated by the College.

When Will Candidates Collect Examination Cards?

Candidates who complete the application process successfully are advised to obtain their examination cards from 3 August 2026.

No candidate will be allowed into the examination hall without an examination card.

When Will the Aptitude Examination Hold?

The aptitude examination will hold on Saturday, 22 August 2026.

The examination time is 7:00am and the venue is the College of Nursing CBT Centre.

What Should Candidates Check Before the Examination?

Candidates should confirm their programme choice, UTME score, O’Level result status and examination card before the examination date.

Applicants should also keep their payment record and application details safe; these may be needed during the admission process.
