IMSU new examination date announced and what you need to know

The Dean Student Affairs of IMSU Prof. Okoro has confirmed this night that the ongoing IMSU examinations has been shifted to recommence on Monday, 7th June, 2021.

This is not unconnected to concerted online protests from student leaders and Imo Stars for the exams to be halted and suspended following the rising insecurity situation in the state.

We wish to seize this medium to convey our deepest gratitude to the university management for heeding with haste to the demands of Imo Stars.

We also want to again appeal that the issue of security operatives storming our hostels and packing our students should be treated with a matter of urgency.

It is pertinent that we advise Imo Stars to be more vigilant now more than ever in the face of prevailing security concerns.

It is our hope that come June 7th, normalcy would have returned to the state and our campus environs. Only this will give us the assurance for an exam recommencement.
