Imo State University (IMSU) emerges winner in VILLA FEST campus award
Imo State University(IMSU) has shown that it boast a plethora of talents that will culminate into stars in the movie industry.
IMSUWOOD a movie arm of IMSU has made their mark after they emerged victorious in the villa fest campus award defeating other schools.
It’s noteworthy that this competition was organized by VILLAFEST to promote the rising talents of Nigerian students and step them out into the limelight.
The event took place at Berland hotel portharcout road and had in attendance popular movie veterans, Chinwetalu Agu, Harry B, Livinus Nochiru and Royal prince.
The award winning movie titled ‘Ofo Na Ogu’ which was a cynosure for all eyes was directed by a final year student of Linguistic department Synthesis and featured Mr IMSU 2021, Lam Chris, Stejay, Sen Oge, Miss IMSU, Don Wizzy,Star pen Bennywise and others.
They were awarded a cash prize of #200,000 and free ticket to see a movie at Dallas Texas, USA by Next year to represent Nigeria.
In addition, A 200level student of Microbiology, Nancy also emerged the Face of Villa fest.
