WINNERS OF THE AFRICAN FESTIVAL AWARD FOR THE BEST CAMPUS MOVIE ENTRY PAYS A COURTESY VISIT TO IMSU VICE CHANCELLOR
Imo State University representatives who emerged winners of the recent Village Arts and Film Festival for the best Campus Movie Entry, yesterday paid a courtesy visit to the Vice chancellor to present their trophy and prizes won.
It’d interest you to know that their awesome and professional performance on the Festival got them the trophy, cash prize of N200,000 and 3 free visas to Dallas Texas, USA.
The Vice Chancellor IMSU, Prof Peter Achunike received the trophy and congratulated the IMSU representatives for their exploits. He assured the winners that the University will sponsor their flight ticket to Dallas Texas, USA. He also promised to write to the State government on their behalf to sponsor their welfare during their stay in Texas.
This wonderful feat clears the doubt engrafted by the ideology that campus is a place for academic exploitation only, it’s also a hub for harnessing talents, socially, spiritually and otherwise.
Congratulations to the Winners!
